Experience

With over 20 years experience teaching and counseling, I started a solo psychotherapy practice in Barrington, RI in 2018.

  • 3 years as a mental health counselor at large group practice
  • 15 years as an independent college and career counselor 
  • 5 years a middle and high school English teacher 
  • 10 years of experience as a writing instructor and coach to teens and adults

Aside from the requirements that LMHCs have for professional development, I am committed to my own personal growth and mental well-being and continue to read books and articles on self improvement and psychology. Currently, I recently completed a Mindfulness Course and am interested in pursuing more training in this area to benefit both myself and my clients.
